All die-hard RPG fans have at least played one of the Breath of Fires on the Super NES. The cool look and the good story were enough to keep many loyal fans interested until this new one smashed over to America. Although it has been a long time since the last one hit the shelves, it was definitely worth the wait. In my opinion, this is by far the best in the series.

The game has many features in it that add more time and gameplay. Fishing, masters, and the Faerie World are just a few of the added features that give you much more bang for your buck. These features can be almost entirely skipped or can be pivotal to your character's development; the option is yours. screenshot After plodding my way through the game and its many little side treats, I am finding myself wanting to go back and play it again. I still have about 50 or so more dragon combinations, a couple of masters to play through, and fish to catch.

screenshot In the following guide, you'll find:
• A descriptive walk-though of the game, complete with accompanying screenshots.
• Tips for learning from the masters, combining dragon genes, and fishing.
• A map of the known BOF3 world, and more.

Spoiler Warning: Realize that reading farther into this guide than your present location in the game may give away plot points.
