| As in all Mario games, a player's main goal is to save the beautiful Princess. To do this, you must defeat the evil Bowser three times. The way to defeat Bowser is to run behind him, grab him by the tail, swing him around, and hammer throw him into a explosive ball. Here are a few tips to help you defeat Bowser each of the three times you face him. |
| Bowser has three methods of attack: a charge, a fireball, and a ground shock wave. |
| How to beat him: Stand on the opposite side of the floating island near one of the bombs that surround the island. |
| Face the bomb so that your back is toward Bowser. |
| Now wait for Bowser to come charging at you. He will. |
| When he almost reaches you, simply do a back flip so that Bowser runs right underneath you when you flip. |
| Now walk right up behind Bowser and grab his tail |
| (Make sure you're not running when you hit the punch button, or you will dive and you will die.) |
| The second time you face Bowser, he'll jump really high and make the floating island rock back and forth. |
| Once you have gotten hold of Bowser's tail, rotate the stick 360 degrees a few times to build up the speed of the throw. (If you're standing near the edge don't spin too fast or you will overthrow the bomb.) |
| Hit the punch button when the throw is lined up. Do this three times and you will be victorious. |
| The third time you face Bowser (after you hit two of the bombs), he gets really mad and breaks the island into an extremely small star. Also, this is the only time that Bowser does the shock wave attack. |
