We have no idea what the storyline involves or which systems the game will appear on, although we have reason to believe the PlayStation 2 will be at least one of the console choices and that the game will appear on the PC as well. But these are guesses.

In any case, the Lara Croft renderings are brilliant, and the backgrounds are impressively detailed and largely darker and more foreboding than in previous games, with dark, mysterious city streets dressed in fantastic ambient lighting. Perhaps the true revelation will come when Tomb Raider finally makes the leap to the new era of console systems. We'll have more on Tomb Raider in the future.
