Above and Below
Once you're through the door and up the ladder, you'll find yourself above a
suspicious-looking rooftop of sorts.
 |
Those boards
don't look too stable. Better not dally. At all. Stand here, then run and jump until
you've safely grabbed the firm stone ledge. |
Once past the shaky boards and on firm footing, turn right and work your way down the
corridor. Draw your favorite close-combat weapon before you drop to the rooftop above the
Opera House. Lots of bad guys lurk in the shadows. Keep moving, just stay away from any
dark pits - falling in one means instant death.
Once the hubbub subsides, get yourself into position before the swinging box alcove.
 |
Access to the
interior of the Opera House begins here. Aim for the area just to the left of the box.
This is the correct position, so if you miss, simply back flip up to the dome and try
again. |
In the dark pit past the death box is a switch. Pull it to release a trapdoor into the
Opera House - and a couple of bad guys. Once inside the Opera House's control room, pull
the left knife switch to get on with the mission.
 |
The left
switch opens the gate to escape this control room; and the Circuit Board that ultimately
grants access to the end of this mission is just over Lara's right shoulder. The right
switch operates the curtain - but there won't be any curtain calls until you get the
Circuit Board. |
Drop through the opening in the fencing and hang a left. Push the button on the far
wall to return the gate to its original position. (The patch of bright light illuminates
the switch's location.) Climb the ladder - and the gate - until you're even with the
control room. Work your way left, and step onto the ledge to behold the fabled Opera
House.
