Bartoli's Hideout …continued

Enter the atrium of the Library and run straight ahead to the open room. Climb up the bookcases, and locate the switch. Pull it to open the room to the left of the atrium (when you first entered the Library). Wax the baddies en route to this tall bookcase room. Climb up to the very top of the highest bookcase and walk through the window to the edge of the sill. Slide down and jump to the balcony. Then leap across to the shingled awning. From the awning, jump to the top of the brick wall. Your goal is to enter the building on the other side of the canal and claim the Detonator Key. A straight-up assault into the room seems to work best. But before you go for this explosive key, let's grab a pair of Uzis.

Run to the far-right section of wall (it's off-color and slopes up). Put your back to the wall, then run, jump, and grab the building's shingled rooftop. It's a tough jump, but doable. Run to the left side of the stove chimney, pause to line up your jump, then leap to the top of the brick wall (or grab the edge and pull up). Drop into the eerie green water and make waves to the far-right corner for these fabulous guns.

Climb out and use those Uzis to battle your way to the Detonator Key, which is inside the building.

The Detonator Key is now served.

Jump across the canal to the door you can see there, a little to your right. Return to the main room of the Library area. Pull the switch next to the door dead ahead (the only door you haven't opened yet), and ambush Bartoli's boys. Once the piazza is quiet, head through the doorway in the right wall, and drop into the water. Turn left and swim to the far-right corner. Pull yourself up, turn left, climb up, and follow the ledge to the detonator itself.

You can implode Bartoli's pad now, or you can glom onto yet another secret. The choice is yours.

Secret 3

Once you've blown the lid off of Bartoli's Hideout, getting out is easy. Just keep going up as you explore the rubble.
