Shoot All the Things! - Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Gameplay

By Lucy James, GSUK Intern

Feast your eyes on this new footage from Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

There really are two sides to every story. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City takes us through the events of the T-Virus outbreak from the perspective of the evil Umbrella Corporation. Your mission: Destroy evidence of Umbrella's involvement, kill survivors, and get rid of those pesky US government forces that are trying to interfere. We've got some awesome new gameplay clips of Capcom's latest cooperative adventure that you can check out below.

I spy with my little eye, something beginning with…Ew. Kill it, kill it with fire.

In the dark recesses of Raccoon City, working with your teammates is invaluable to preventing yourself from being overrun.

It's not just the undead you have to deal with in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Luckily, they can all be dispatched in the same method: one good shot to the head.

Green herbs (no, not that kind), grenades, and a well-aimed sniper shot can be lifesavers in Raccoon City.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is set for a March 20 release in the US, and it will arrive slightly later on March 23 in Europe. But what do you think? Do you think this deviation from the norm is good for the Resident Evil franchise? Let us know in the comments below.

I know its not but PC gamers are/were very excited about the release of D3 but yet again it got delayed thats why i don't care about it anymore. I am more excited about RE games coming

Is it just me or is there anyone who feels the same. I am more excited about this & RE6 than Diablo 3.

@Defy_The_Fallen I'm not just talking about Operation: Raccon City, Resident Evil 5 wasn't scary too, I just hope that Resident Evil 6 will be great and that the developers go back to making it a horror game.

@Gladiator_Sofi It's a spin off, there not changing all future resident evils into third person shooters. It's even being made by a different company

I'm not exactly a fan of survival-horror games, but I have to admit, turning Resident Evil into a shooter and almost removing all the horror side doesn't really seem like a great idea.

Looks like fun, it would be cool to run through these levels alone. I hope theres a solo mode. What I didnt like about RE5 was the forced co-op.

always stuck between a rock & a hard place in this game

AI sure makes those guys look like "special" forces alright.

Unfortunatly for this game, any interest that I had in it has been pretty much obliterated by the RE6 announcement. And also, I was under the impression that Government Spec Ops soldiers were at least smart enough not to stand out in the open when facing armed opponents- either their training budget's been dramatically slashed or they're 'very' special forces.

looks like purty basic evil to me ! reminds me of Uncherted shooting , you have to use way to many bullets for kills and damage ? oh well , it's just a game and does look good ! i'll buy it ....
