The Soviet armored menace represents the greatest threat to the Allied Forces. To this extent, the Allies devised the deadly minelayer vehicle, which can deploy up to five anti-tank mines throughout the battlefield. A Soviet tank which unwittingly runs across such an invisible explosive will sustain tremendous, nearly fatal damage. Luckily, your mines will be readily noticeable to your troops who will automatically avoid them.The minelayer is a remarkably useful tool in the right hands. Its quick speed and sturdy armor may save it from destruction, but ideally it will never see combat. Use the minelayer to deploy vast fields of explosives throughout the enemy's mineral patches and travel routes. There is no better way to destroy the enemy than to destroy him before he can even come close. Note that Anti-Tank Mines will not affect enemy infantry, and can be destroyed by gunfire if suspected. Minelayers can be infinitely reloaded at your supply depot, and you should take care to mine your base surroundings as best you can. The minelayer is your best defense against Soviet tanks, but successfully managing its powers is no easy task.
