The Allied light tank is not to be taken lightly; concentrated fire from its quick-shooting 75mm cannon will level most any structure or enemy unit in moments. Soviet troops are advised to eliminate light tanks first, as they can inflict much more damage than they can take. Flimsy armor means these tanks rarely survive very long in the heat of battle, though in massive droves they can overwhelm the opponent with little difficulty.Dramatic speed allows light tanks to easily outrun the much slower Soviet opposition, thereby making hit-and-run tactics an enticing and often necessary combat strategy. Light tanks are also heavy enough to crush infantry under their treads, and more than fast enough to make doing so a viable means of attack.
