There has been a great deal of attention given to the upcoming releases of a number of sequels. Some of the more popular soon-to-be-released sequels include Diablo II, Baldur's Gate II, Dark Reign II, Monkey Island 4, Tribes 2, and Team Fortress 2. While these games all look promising, many of us have wished for a sequel to a game that for one reason or another hasn't ever become reality. Or some of us may have played a number of games in a series and are eagerly awaiting the next installment, even though the developer hasn't announced any intentions of creating another sequel.

This week we asked our editors to share their opinions on which game they think most deserves a sequel. We restricted their answers to include only sequels that have not been announced.
