Secret Level
The Nameless City

This secret level may be hard to get to, but it is even harder to get through. Fiends and ogres abound, but if you can find the secret areas you’ll be prepared. One cautionary note: Try to avoid the central courtyard until you have activated the elevator - you’ll be a sitting duck for the vore unless you can reach the Quad Damage on the second level.

Drop in the hole next to this shambler to find a red armor

Secret Area 1
Walk through the passageway under the gold key. You will notice a small walkway to your right. Head up and turn to your left, where you’ll see a star button. Jump and press the button, then head to the right, where you’ll see zombies in an elevator. Take the elevator up to a medium-size room with a shambler and a small hole in the floor. Drop into the hole and turn around, where you will find a small area containing a red armor.

This pit not only leads to a secret area, it leads to a super-secret room just next to the zombies pictured here

Secret Area 2
Drop down from the small ledge outside of Secret Area 1. You will be near a large pit looking down over a pool of water, with a thin, zombie-infested ledge just slightly below. Drop down to this second ledge. Examine the wall to the left of the torch. Hit this corner to open an area containing a box of cells, a box of nails, a box of shells, and some health kits. This is not the secret, however. Exit this area and look down into the pit, where you will see an open ledge about halfway down with some ammo and some health. Jump to this ledge to access the second secret area, which also contains a Quad Damage.

Secret Area 3/The Gold Key
Jump back into the pit and exit the pool. Press the star button on the wall to lower a beam. Stand on the beam until it rises again. Grab the green armor and walk around the beam and into the central cage. Find the red button on the wall and shoot it to open the cage. From here you will ride an elevator up to the window across from the gold key. Jump across and get the key. You can now open the gold door, behind which is Secret Area 3.

The gold key is also the key to a secret area, which is simply the room behind the gold door

The Silver Key
Return to this pit after going through the gold door. Instead of dropping into the cage, however, continue around the corner to the series of elevators. When you reach the top, step on the floor plate to lower the elevator in the courtyard below. This will grant you access to the teleporter and to the silver key. You will also have the advantage of accessing the Quad Damage while fighting the numerous monsters in the courtyard and beyond the teleporter.

Also note that if you turn around when riding up these elevators, you’ll see some cells on platforms behind them. The first one you can jump to from the elevator. The second box of cells requires that you use the elevator tracks as steps.

The triangular opening next to the cell ammo will give you access to the zombie-infested cage below

In the very dark hallway just beyond the guillotine trap, walk to the very end and look to your right. Walk up the ramp and take the cells, which will turn on the lights and release some zombies. One of the newly opened areas will contain a Pentagram of Protection.

Secret Area 4
Go through the silver door and up the ramp to the right. You’ll be standing on a caged area that has one triangular slot you can drop through, just next to the box of cells. Drop down to collect 100 health, and press the star button to exit.
