Doesnt mean anything. Has anything changed? Nope. Wal-Mart still holds a grip on the retail market and treats their employees like crap. Wealth is still controlled by the top 1%. The rich get richer and the poor die faster. You REALLY want to save people in a game that contribute to that? Not me.

Rainbow Six also had a pretty dope and unexpected (from my POV) scene I'm going to get ME3 no matter what, I gotta finish up my trilogy and a good maybe to Last of Us

Very good trailers. The Spiderman looks like a Batman Arkham wannabe, if they execute well it looks awesome. Absolution looks amazing, the last cutscene however reminds me way too much of Equilibrium movie. And wow I cant believe that Naughy Dog is into another game already. To think they started with games like Crash Bandicot and Daxter Games.

@TrueProphecy22 The game is branding people who are peaceful protesters terrorists by skewing their message. It's obvious what they are doing: diluting the protesters' message. Aside from that, like I said: read the 2012 NDAA, if you are a US citizen you can be imprisoned indefinitely on a baseless accusation now. No a grand jury hearing, no civilian judge, no defense lawyer, according to this if you disagree with the government for any reason you can be shipped off to Guantanamo. I hope Obama does something right for once and vetoes it.

I guess I'm going to get Mass Effect after all, despite having the co-op horde feature and I already have Bioshock: Infinite, I have to pre-ordered and now I just have to pre-order the new Hitman, the new Transformers, and I this was not at VGA's but Max Payne 3 and Halo 4 and a bunch of other games for next year.

The VGA's are ridiculous but I can't help feeling compelled to watch them because I always think well what if they drop another bomb like Skyrim during this one? Unfortunately that wasn't the case this year, at least the host was bearable this time. I did agree with Skyrim winning GOY out of the possible choices, but even though Skyrim was my favorite game this year I feel LA Noire and The Witcher 2 deserved the award more.

Of course its not MGS... its MGR! and calling it a generic hack n slash ist just stupid. the gameplay of Bayonetta has more depth than any Metal Gear game... and since Metal Gear Rising is made by the same Developer, i have no doubt that it will be awesome. if you want a new MGS wait for MGS5... Kojima said it will come sooner or later...

I've been patiently following Metal Gear Rising. I'm tired of teaser trailers, I want a release date! Quit being a tease Konami, you've been nothing but a tease since you announced this project 2 years ago. I loved being stealthy, now I'm ready to slice n' dice!

something makes me thing that this new metal gear is not about stealth action or tactical espionage....

Rainbow 6, Partriots looks pretty good, heck that trailer looked like he game would be almost real looking! Command and Conquer looked good also!!

Metal Gear Rising looks crap unfortunately in my opinion, although admittedly I have never really been into hack and slash.

The Last of Us, Bioshock and Mass Effect top that list for me although Rainbow also looks great but it's a long way off yet.

Thrasher Maw vs. Reaper?! Wow, that is freakin' epic! ME3 couldn't get any higher on my insta-buy list. Cannot wait. Fortnite, Last of Us and Bioshock all look interesting, Most disappointing has got to be Diablo 3. Didn't show us anything new apart from Hell is about to swallow everything up in a big ball of fire. So what else is new?

Rising looks less than stellar :( It looks like most other games and in fact worse than most current generation games. Granted Metal Gear Solid 4 - though incredible on the whole - still had somewhat plasticky/rubbery models, and the game and the look of it is was a lot more than the sum of parts - it was largely a result of the incredible amount of work that had gone into the animation, camera, specific effects and the overall packaging of each scene (which Kojima is frigging incredible at), rather than the core strengths of the tech itself. But still the Rising developers OUGHT to make the tech look better! And the crazy retro fonts don't help add to the allure of the game either. I thought Kojima would be behind the storytelling here - I wasn't expecting much but if he had a stronger presence the trailer would have been a lot more than gameplay montage, and what looks largely like standard issue hack-n-slash action (except for the running around the tunnel off a moving train bit at the end - if that's anywhere related to the actual gameplay, I'm sold!!!!) *sigh* Looks like I won't be wanting a Kinect after all.

ahhhhh Mass effect 3... cant come soon enough. :) Diablo III looks awesome and last of us might be good enough I'd have to charge my playstation controller. :) Bio Shock is a must and I may have to play the transformers game too. Once its cheaper. :)

Even though it wasn't gameplay for me best trailer was Transformers, after that at a close 2 and 3 is The last of us and dam spiderman looked good and that had some gameplay sequences. I mean dam it almost impossible to not look any of them, Rainbow six was the ultimate teaser and Metal Gear dropped my jaw!!!!

Thresher Maw versus Reaper --AND-- Grimlock versus Devastator?!? This is going to be another great year for gaming.

Man my must have list for next year is growing.
