Alkari |
For those who prefer their games
based on defense and research, the Alkari are
ideal because their defensive abilities make them
a hard target. They also have the Ancient Home
World special ability, a definite scientific
advantage. |

Elerians |
Aside from their primitive feudal
government, there isn't much to dislike about the
Elerians. Their omniscience keeps them one step
ahead of the game, and when they do get attacked
a +20 percent Ship Attack and Ship Defense makes
them quite the formidable foe. Their ability to
use Telepathy for diplomacy and espionage doesn't
hurt either. |

Meklars |
Despite the fact that the Meklars
"eat" a half-point of industrial
production with each turn, they are extremely
productive and excel when it comes to research
because they can use more people for research
than for farming. |

Psilons |
The Psilons are as good at
research as the Mrrshan are at war, and will
quickly outdistance everyone in all fields if
left alone long enough. Unfortunately, their
military abilities are horrid, but if you play
uncontested long enough you will build up your
sciences, and your lack of aggression is
irrelevant. |
