The enemy dropship is no match for the Mercenary's small but powerful 'Mech lance.


A meddling Jenner is your sole opposition if you choose to eliminate the dropship.

When the dropship arrives, shoot at it. You need only to kill the Jenner, then take out the dropship - keep moving to avoid the dropship's laser fire.

If you want to take on the lance, be prepared for a nasty fire fight. Finish the Jenner scout quickly and keep heading north. When you target the lance, they will approach. Turn around and run back to your starting point to get some maneuvering room. Keep an eye out for the Catapult. Your first priority is to ID the Catapult to turn it to your side. Your next priority is to blow the arms off the PPC-wielding Thug. If you strip the Thug of its arms, it may run.

A quicker 'Mech is better here than a slightly better armed 'Mech if you're going to slug it out with the lance. You may be able to salvage one of the 'Mechs, but unless you have a lancemate, don't bother.
