ighthouse is a demanding, difficult, and
frequently frustrating point-and-click adventure. Its
scope and complexity make Myst look like a Sunday
stroll. Set in a parallel world with a mix of
high-tech and organic devices, you need to use
machine building logic and follow some occasionally
obscure clues to solve this huge game.
You will visit unique locales, repair mechanical
flying devices, command a submarine, operate a
rock-drilling train, build an ion cannon, fight a
dark creature, and rescue a scientist and his baby daughter.
You can follow multiple pathways to reach the same
conclusion, use more than one technique to solve some
puzzles, skip some sections altogether, and still
finish successfully. The following walk-through takes
you on what we believe is the most straightforward
path through this game. Since there are so many
options, we'll let you know when to save your game to
give you the opportunity to do some extra exploring.
