DR. KRICK'S LABORATORY

Items to collect:
More notes, soldering iron, short wire, small tube, and big tube.
Things to do:
Unlock door, restore power to lab equipment, reboot the computer, and repair the transport device.
Object:
Enter parallel world.

Open the lab door at the end of the hallway by inputting the code. You'll find it on page 59 of Dr. Krick's notes.


Dr. Krick's Lab

From the work table to your left, pick up Dr. Krick's notes, the soldering iron, a small tube near the back, and a small dark gray wire with silver ends below the microscope.

Use the crowbar on the silver case twice to open it, then remove one large tube. Open what looks like a pot-bellied stove by the control panel, remove the blown-out tube, replace it with the small one, remove and replace the burnt wire, then solder both ends. Click all eight switches plus the left lever on the control panel.

Go upstairs and open the padlocked door by using the crowbar on the lock three times. Open the lamp, remove and replace the large tube, look up and attach the plug to the lightning rod.

Now leave the lab and the house and go to the shed and throw that last large circuit breaker. If it fails to close, you missed something in the lab.

Back in the lab, open the panel in the computer (it's that red-striped contraption in the corner) and hit the reset switch. Go to the computer monitor and click "Retry." If the computer displays an error message you've missed something along the way.

Now move the right lever on the control panel and enter the newly generated shimmering portal to the parallel world.
