The GameSpot Aptitude Test 99
Think you know games? The GameSpot Aptitude Test is your chance to prove it.

For the second year in a row, the GameSpot editors have compiled a grueling exam, made up of 160 questions designed to test your knowledge of the history of gaming on home computer systems.

The GSAT is more than 25 pages long. If you lose your Internet connection before completing the test, don't worry. The GSAT will remember all the answers you have submitted.

It is very important to note that you must use the link at the bottom of each page to record your answers for the questions on that page. If you go back to change an answer, you must use the link at the bottom of the page to record your changes. If you use the "forward" button on your browser, you will lose any changes you make.

If you haven't taken the GSAT before, we suggest you take a look at some sample questions.

If you have taken the GSAT before, you can begin the test immediately. There are two ways to take the GSAT. If you are a registered user you can sign in and have your score recorded, which will give you a chance to have your score entered into our Hall of Fame.

The GSAT will record your answers indefinitely. If you'd like to reset the test and remove all previously recorded answers, just click the button below.
