the silverback does NOT fire rockets in horde mode. That is a blatant lie by the writer Kurtis Seid. Shame on you Kurtis.

wow what a game and a story great end to the series im sad theres going to be nomore, ended on a high note
the retrol/lancer is my favret weapon of lem all.i us it more then most.
love this game first week since its been out and allready i have played it all the way through on casual to hardcore. and to the end phase of brothers to the end on insanity difficulty so far. just wish this game had some non exploitable cover points on the levels that have small battlefield area's and surrounded on all fronts. like this one
For the berzerkers, light it on fire with either the flamethrower, hammer of dawn, or flame grenades to weaken it, then tag grenades onto it, works wonders. ;)
Just beat the game. I can't believe that Epic actually managed to make Baird extremely likeable in Gears 3. I hated him in Gears 1 and 2, lol. Kudos to Epic for making an excellent game. Absolutely obliterated my expectations. Gears 3 is a heavy contender for GOTY. Yes you read that right, Gears of war and GOTY in the same sentence. Anyone who hasn't played this game yet, play it now. And you'll know what all this hype is about.

I love the game, almost done the campaign and it just rocks. I'll be hitting the multiplayer this weekend. Some games aren't worth the 59 dollar price tag, games like Gears 3 make 59 dollars look like a bargain!
For Lambent Berserker you have to shoot the glowing spot on it's chest.you make it run into a wall and it will turn around with it open.
Nice guide. Might use it for the collectibles.

Same here. Wasnt going to buy Gears 3, but my friend wanted to co-op so I figured what the hell. its amazing. The retro lancer is sooo hard to use, you need such small bursts or the recoil will kill you
For some reason i wasn't too excited for Gears 3. I had some credit on my Gamestop rewards card so I picked it up on a whim. HOLY MOLY!! Gears 3 is friggin outstanding!! What an awesome game. I'm still in Act 1 but my goodness this game oooozes coolness. Best looking console game to date. No doubt.

for the regular bersekers, use the flamethrowers that spawn for you. while a couple of people on your team flame it, the others shoot the crap out of it. for the lambent zerker i think you do the same thing but can also shoot the glowy spot on it's front.
How do you kill berserkers on Checkout. Can't find any hammer of dawns!!
It was not worth the $65. Apparently Microsoft no longer includes a manual with thier game releases unless you fork over an extra $30-$100 for the Ultimate or Epic Editions. I am into act 2 and the game has more cut scenes than Call of Duty Black Ops. Really, am I playing a game or watching a movie?
