PAX, or Penny Arcade Expo, is in full swing from September 4-6, and it's completely sold out. The show is known for being an all-out gamer extravaganza. It doesn't make a difference at all what you're into: console, PC, old-school arcade, or tabletop. It's all there! We've got more than a few eyes on the ground to catch everything that happens. funny... that's me in the Blizzard booth playing StarCraft II in the green shirt. My friend standing next to me in the white shirt was the only one out of all of us that managed to beat the computer in the SC2 demo... we found out later he put the AI on 'easy' instead of 'normal'. We never stopped teasing him after that.

I wish I'd gotten more cosplay pics. The only cosplay I got on my camera were Street Fighter characters...which can be seen on my blog.
i dont see anything wrong wtih cosplay in fact it can range from dedicated to lazy although some costumes are easy. left4dead for instance. gray or white make up for skin,black pants and dark blue hoodie for a hunter would be a nice and easy costume but for a boomer it will be a challenge.

My first PAX and it was a lot of fun. Next year I need to bring a list of titles I want to check out cuz I missed so many. (the huge lines at popular names don't help either) Although the pink passes for Saturday were not appreciated! LOL
PAX was fun. God my legs hurt. Lookin at all these pics brings back memories. Even though it was just yesterday.

Valve should hire an older guy who looks like the gman from Half-Life and HL2 to just stand in obscure places and not say anything. All they would need as far as cosplay is nondescript gray briefcase and old-style business suit.

oh my god ... everything is coming down at ones, when ever gamers, the people you always read and hear about at spots like this and here, stepping out into the sun, gathering at dealer-convention and have no kind of self-esteam left, whne they are about to present there hobby to the world ... morons, in fact they only are lured by the baits, placed by the people you are eager to drain the the money out of those freaks ... you know, when visiting internetforums and commenting or chating you always see people like yourself or your friends behind those gamers ... but conventions like this (or the pics of) revealing it ... most of those people are really, really orientationless and twisted or ill-minded in the worst-case ... the Masterchief with clown-boots is just hilarious .... btw. looking at the business and teh industrie, making money with games is pretty much the same as making money with porn, nowadays ... they only milking your urges, they will not support your lifestyle or even offer you quality ... they are after your freakmoney ... and they know how to catch all those people and youngstars who seem to be raised under arrested development... always check yourself, always reflect your actions ... *thoughts*
