The British have come. They bring mirth, merriment, and obscenity in equal measure. That measure being cubits, or furlongs, or some such thing, because that's just how they do things in the UK. Or, as its better known, "Unbelievable Klingons."
Just who are these invaders? Danny O'Dwyer is back, of course, this time joined by Martin Gaston and Mark Walton, who have joined forces against Tom Mc Shea and host Kevin VanOrd to see just how far they can take things before the entire show gets banned from the airwaves.
We also find time to discuss the rumored E3 showings, break down Harmonix and Microsoft's newest game announcements, and define the act of dancing once and for all. Have Urban Dictionary at the ready!

This show better not be cancelled! It has become the highlight of my gaming week! I would like it on iTunes but I don't use it though.
First time I've listened to this podcast and I was not disappointed. It's a shame that the UK lads aren't always featured, I really enjoyed the US/UK dynamic. And Kevin learned about clunge! The sarlac reference had me in stitches. Good work.

Hmm... this podcast was misleading in a way that it had something to do with BG&E 2... guess not. It was funny at times though.

1 Like Very entertaining episode, guys. Screw the music competition though. The only song I want to know what it is is the one that starts and ends this podcast! Is it a stock song? I recognize it but I can't figure out from where and it's driving me mad. (inb4 "it's from a porno" jokes). Sorry if this has been asked and answered a million times.

@Clastor Agreed, moment I heard Half-Life 2 : CP Violation I had to go play some Half Life :D, if they reveal the 3rd at E3 i will scream like a little girl lol.
Thank you Kevin, I hate the Euphoria movement system in Max Payne 3. I don't even like it in Rockstar's open world games, where you can't even get through doors in one uninterrupted motion. I hate Max Payne 3, it just does not compare to the previous games in either gameplay (bullet time 2.0 gone, moving from cover to cover is awkward, diving makes you bump into scenery with stun lock) or storytelling (those awful cutscene effects and the constant barrage of them ruining the pacing, and they're also unskippable!).
1 Like @digi_matrix different people have different tastes? I liked MP3 a lot, for example. The cutscenes were a 1:1 Tony Scott "Man on Fire" reference. You were unable to skip them, because they were used to hide the loading times. Rockstar surprised me how much they improved their engine. The shooting mechanics were better than in GTA IV (both gamepad & mouse/keyboard). "Hate" is a strong word. "Not every game can be everything to everyone all the time"? #Iquotemyselfalot
@sethfrost@digi_matrix The problem here is seeing Tony Scott effects for 10 hours, not 2 hours. And they're pretty damn random, they're even on when Max goes sober in the favelas.

2 Like @sethfrost I can not stand Justin Beiber's music. Not only does it sap my soul, but makes me weep to see pop music go from Micheal Jackson to this trash. Slowed down, however, I get a space church kind of vibe from this. LOL. This has brightened my day.
I'm glad these guys were invited only for this week. Some parts were funny, but too much chaos in general.
Great podcast even though I get the feeling Kevin was sort of like a teacher that lost control of their students a bit, the Jurassic Park song was the hardest I've laughed in a long time.
