GS: Dungeon Keeper contained rooms like the torture chamber, the hatchery, and the library. What are some of the new types of rooms in the sequel?
NG:
Very occasionally there is a big-money winner. Amid the sound of Klaxons, and with much flashing of colored lights, one of your creatures will hit the "big one" and will be showered with gold from the ceiling. If the keeper manages to get to the casino before the creature leaves, then every slap of the Hand of Evil will spill gold from the winner. Don't let the other creatures spot you though.
Combat Pit - This room provides an arena for your creatures to prove their prowess in gladiatorial combat. The keeper is able to put creatures (friendly or enemy) into the pit and watch them fight each other in a no-holds-barred contest. This provides a cheaper way of training your creatures.
GS: Dungeon Keeper had an innovative (but not very useful) feature that allowed you to possess your creatures and view the gameworld from their eyes. How is possessing creatures different in the sequel?
For instance, in possession mode, the new Dark Elf has a sniper ability. Simply zoom in the camera and pick off any annoying and unsuspecting heroes. Also, as a possessed vampire, you can now hypnotize an enemy creature. Once entranced, the creature can then convince another enemy creature to follow it and attack any creature or hero targeted by the vampire.
Another new feature of the possession mode is that the player can create war parties that will follow them around the dungeon.
