animal. It's about being free and enjoying Mother Nature.... OK, so it's mostly about shooting deer and mounting their heads on a wall. In fact, I have 15 heads hanging in my living room, plus a bear skin rug by my fireplace in the den with a moose head and an elk head.

My most memorable time as a deer hunter was the time I tracked a giant buck for five miles down a steep canyon. I got as close as 75 yards of the monster, when I put the crosshairs right on his shoulder. Taking extra special care, I squeezed the trigger, and in one fraction of a second, it was all over - the buck went down. It had five points on one side and six points on the other. The taxidermist measured the rack and said it was a new record. Every year since then I have been looking for another buck as big as that one. The problem is I only have four weeks each year to try - until now. With Deer Hunter, I can hunt every day of the year.

This guide not only provides tips and strategies for finding the big bucks but also explains how to use the weapons and tools that will help you bring down this elusive animal. If you follow these techniques, you will surely be on your way to becoming a master deer hunter.
