Objectives
• Destroy the Imperium Base
• Prevent any evacuation of the Dessicator from the area

Taelon Deposits
There are four Taelon deposits, one just south of your starting position, one even further south, one east of the river near the center of the map, and the last one in the northeast corner of the map.

Freshwater Springs
There's one just south of your starting position and one nearby to the east. There's one further east across the river, and there's once near the south of the map across the river (near the center). The last one is in the heart of the Imperium base, near the center of the eastern side of the map.

Freedom Guard Strategy
screenshot Establish your base close to your starting position. Use the superior range of the three Triple Rail Hover Tanks you start with to take out the Neutron Accelerator east of your base. Build some turrets and then concentrate on destroying the Imperium units west of the river, which shouldn't be too difficult. There's a bridge to the east over the river, somewhat south of the center of the map. Build some laser turrets and a Heavy Rail Platform or two there, and you'll essentially bottle in the Imperium forces. Take out any Recon Drones you spot, as they will serve as spotters for the SCARAB artillery.

Build and upgrade a Phasing Facility so that you can use the Phase Runner. By using scouts to explore the Imperium base, you should get a pretty good idea where the artillery fire is coming from. Load up a Phase Runner with some mercenaries or Spider Bikes and go and take out the artillery - the mission becomes much easier once your forces are not being bombarded. You can also use the Phase Runner to deposit a few scouts deep in enemy territory or to unload a bunch of Triple Rail Hover Tanks in a position to take out some key Imperium structures (don't try to do this until the Imperium artillery is eliminated). Start working your way inward, concentrating on "liberating" the freshwater springs away from the Imperium forces.

Eventually the Imperium will try to evacuate the Dessicator, sounding a warning. You have to stop the Dessicator transport or you'll lose the mission regardless of how well you were doing. The transport will head south down the north-south road near the far east corner of the map. It's not a bad idea to leave a few phased units on that road to wait for it when it attempts to evacuate the Dessicator. It'll be guarded by a few Tachion Tanks, but it should be a fairly easy target once you catch up to it.
