Freedom Guard Unit Descriptions and Strategies:
Infilitrators
Infiltrators act as spies, as they can morph into enemy units to sneak into an enemy base and steal its unit plans. Sneak into an Imperium training facility to steal the plans for an infantry unit, or an assembly plant to get plans for an armored unit, or even its headquarters to access the enemy's mini-map.
Vulnerabilities
In order to use your morphing ability, you'll have to be able to see an Imperium infantry unit, which is actually sometimes more difficult than you'd expect. Infiltrators also don't have any weapons and can't take much of a beating. Be warned: After you steal the plans, the enemy will be alerted of your presence and attack you on your way out. If you had to pass any turrets on your way in, you'd better find another way out.
How to Get the Most out of Infiltrators
It's not a bad strategy to try to get an Infiltrator into an enemy's HQ early on. Even if your Infiltrator doesn't survive the return journey, you'll get a good idea of what you're up against, which should give you a significant tactical advantage. If you do decide that you want to make a run for some plans, never send your Infiltrator past enemy turrets alone. If morphed, you may be able to make it inside to get the plans, but you'll never survive the return journey if you're detected. Parked Infiltrators can serve as fairly effective scouts, as well, but won't be able to avoid detection forever, and it will be lights out once the enemy spots them.
