This slow, ungainly unit more than makes up for its lack of speed through its immense firepower. No human being, no matter how armored or shielded, can withstand a direct hit from this weapon. GL-303 ammunition explodes on contact, causing a three-foot-wide blast which will obliterate anything at its center while intensely damaging anything caught in the explosion. Naturally, the grenade launcher must be used only from a respectable distance, lest the user face as gruesome a fate as that designated for the receiving end. The GL-303 is a nothing but brute force, and can punch through most obstacles with ease. Only the thickest of bulkheads can survive its wrath, so in the event that you're facing a sealed door, don't hesitate to give the old GL a go at it. Ten-round magazines for the grenade launcher are available in good quantities.

As you might expect, any human targets struck by the GL-303 will either detonate along with the explosive, or burn beyond recognition. You will not be able to salvage such a victim's belongings. Also note that this weapon's capabilities extend beyond the immediate field of vision: if you suspect a target on the other side of a wall, a GL-303 grenade will likely penetrate the barrier to destroy whatever is behind it.
