Conclusion

Now lets move on to the weaponry. All of your equipment (including your own helmet if you're silly enough to insist upon getting out of your tank) comes with smart-reticle technology that will enable you to not only get detailed information on what you're looking at and give quick orders to your troops, but also instantly tell what kind of weapon you have active by its shape. Here's a list of a few of those weapons and some quick details on how they can help you to stay alive.

187 SMG - OK, the textbook says that the standard minigun or SMG is useful against infantry and nonmoving targets. What this really means is that if you're up against a tough foe, you should probably try to find another weapon. While the SMG can eventually whittle down a more powerful foe, you may not be able to stick around that long.

AT-Stabber - Short for Anti-Tank Stabber. This is the weapon to load up when you're facing off against most of the enemies you're likely to run into. It's big, it's powerful, and it was made to make those other tanks go boom! Oh, if someone's firing one of these ATs at you, you'll want to get out of the way.

Blast Cannon - A supercharged laser bolt that will flat-out fry what's in your sights. Unfortunately, this eats up a lot of ammo, which can leave you running on empty in hostile territory. It's best to drop these guns in stationary towers that are close enough to home to get frequent reloads.

MAG Cannon - Short for magnetic acceleration gun, the MAG cannon is a charging weapon. While this is always handy for the first shot (as long as you initiate the fight) it can get to be a nuisance in a real hot-and-heavy battle (because you're just firing the weakest shot over and over again). Still, this weapon's damage potential makes it a welcome addition to any HUD.

Flash Cannon - This microwave weapon works a lot like your oven at home. Just aim at what you want to get really hot (like an enemy's engine for example) and watch as it overheats. A good way to get pursuers off your tail without getting in an extended shoot-out.

TAG Cannon - Another acronym? This one stands for automated TArGeting gun, and it's one of the finest weapons around for those of you with shaky aim. This dual cannon first fires a homing shell into its target. Once that shell has hit (OK, OK, if that shell has hit) then the cannon fires out a whole salvo of missiles that are guided to the original shell. A great way to ruin someone's day.

AT-Super Stabber - A lot like the AT-Stabber, only this time around the shell detonates in a large explosion on contact with its target, damaging not only the target, but anything nearby. Fun for the whole family.

Sounds good to me, but what does GameSpot think?
