Anachronox
[4/3/98]

With the winds howling about the top of the building, I sit down to write my diary.

Things are going well. The LWO code is done for Q2, and there are some more minor integration issues. But things are shaping up!

I'm in the middle of beefing up the universe. There are lots of cool places to visit and all, but now I'm doing some filling out, adding some behind-the-scenes struggles between certain planets and so on, so that it fills in behind the main story.

Just met on two of the level packs. One is really concrete and solidly defined, and one is more free form and horrifying, but they should both be cool.

Met with the horn guy, Ron Jones, about adding horns to the funk song in Anachronox. We're having a local band do it. It's really funky and cool.

We're also looking into getting better BSP/VIS/RAD machines (I've started calling that BVR or "beaver" for lack of a better term). Should happen soon.

I've brought in a lot of things to hang up at the office but haven't gotten around to it yet. Got a Kate Bush poster and posters from various games. Jake is lending me his A Brief History of Time poster... but that's physical exercise, so foreign to our development shores.... Actually, we did go out and play Frisbee yesterday. That was good. Most of us ache now. That is bad.

Lee Dotson did up the skins for Boots, Stiletto, and two other main characters. They are looking rock. Everyone on the team is doing interesting stuff.
