    Thank you GS for this:
It was exciting to watch, all these players meant business and I would never dare to play them online.

Congrats to Fuudo. I was disappointed to see Daigo get eliminated so soon, though. Also, Poongko is a beast, they should call him Mr. Perfect.

Latif! Defeating Tokido, Daigo, and Poongko all in the same finals bracket!? Just insanity! He didn't win it, but that run has got to be up there as one of the craziest of all time.

Woulda loved to see Poongko get a second shot at Fuudo though,

I remember playing street fighter 2 for the first time at a 7/11 many, many years ago. That street fighter is still relevant to this day is quite a feat, a true testament of what an awesome game it was, still is and will forever be. Congrats to the Champ, well done.

@malfreds I'm assuming that you're talking about phoenix's dark phoenix transformation. It wastes all five bars of meter and phoenix has to die to activate it. She also loses health every second one she turns into dark phoenix.

    Posted Jul 31, 2011 7:55 pm GMT

mvc3 suck way to win the tournament by using phoenix thats like having a forth character this game is so cheap come on i wonder if he can win without out phoenix probably not

  • kiubytom

    Posted Jul 31, 2011 7:54 pm GMT

PR ROG already had the victory

Awesome MvC 3 final. It was priceless seeing Tron killing D. Phoenix w/ lvl 3 special. But in the end, Dark Phoenix is just too much. It's sad to see her winning a tournament.

Dayum "perfected". Justin Wong out just like that!

  • malfreds

    Posted Jul 31, 2011 7:07 pm GMT

What is the weakness of that Phoenix special move? Where she gets on fire and gain life. The opponents are running, seems like they cannot hit her. Looks cheap. I'm not a MvC3 player, so that's why I'm asking.
