Manhunt 2 Game Guide/Walkthrough
Proceed to the marked blue objective. It’s the catacombs entrance. But it’s a hatch that must be opened with the crowbar. Locate the crowbar on the other side of the entrance; it’s behind a couple tombstones. Pick up the crowbar, open the hatch and then return and pick up your weapon again. Take a shovel down into the catacombs with you; if you don’t have one you can grab it from the gravesite in the first cemetery area. Dropping into the hatch triggers a checkpoint.
Objective: Defeat 6 hunters to unlock the catacombs exit.
Although the objective requires you to defeat six enemies, there are actually more here. Expect to defeat them all before continuing onward. If you snagged the flare gun from Michael’s corpse during the previous objective then you should be able to snag three fairly easy kills. Carefully open the door and watch the radar movement. Equip and aim the flare gun at any approaching hunters. It’s difficult to remain in stealth mode here and it’s better to remain close to the start position to avoid being surrounded by the enemy.
Some of the enemies carry assault rifles—that’s bad news but you can use this to your advantage by killing one and grabbing the assault rifle. The flare gun likely has little ammo so you’ll need one of the assault rifles for the firepower to eliminate the remaining enemies. Gather dropped ammo if needed. Eliminate all of the hunters (the exit is revealed once you’ve killed six enemies).
Objective: Locate the catacombs exit.
Find first aid at the end of the right corridor. It’s close to the exit, which is found at the end of a ramp on the right side of the catacombs. Walk out to trigger the checkpoint.
Objective: Carry Danny’s wife’s corpse to her grave.
Danny’s wife’s corpse is the green marker on the radar. You must pick her up and carry her—which makes you move very slow—to her gravesite in the adjacent cemetery. The problem is that Leo attacks continuously until you fend him off. The assault rifle recovered from the catacombs is a must-have weapon. If you collected the dropped ammo from the previous objective you should have more than enough.
Grab your wife and start to carry her. When Leo shows up, drop her and aim and fire the assault rifle at Leo. Aim for the head. Once he’s eliminated, pick up your wife and resume course toward the marked blue objective. Repeat when Leo shows up again.
Objective: Break the cemetery gate lock from inside the graveyard.
Another problem: the gate into the adjacent cemetery is locked by chain. Drop your wife. If you need health, turn around and spot some inside a small crypt. You must get into the adjacent cemetery. Go around the right side of the gate and find a small wall clouded in shadow. Climb over. Go to the backside of the gate and spot the lock. Shoot the lock with your assault rifle. Go through the gate and grab your wife. Resume course toward her grave.
If Leo shows up again, take him out with the assault rifle. Find her grave in the back of the cemetery. Drop her body in the grave to complete the mission and the game.
