i do concure with previous comments about vista in many respects, vista is a very unstable and unfinished product, to this day i have vista compatibility problems with internet explorer and windows media player, and those are all windows products. Microsoft is to buissy making gaming systems that break every 6 months to care about their native pc platform. honestly microsoft is stretched in to many directions as a company and if you ask me they are starting to fail in all areas.

i have the 640 mb 8800 gt, i am so impressed by the new 512 version i might have to give my 640 to my brother for his birthday and get a 512, or two.

Go with the 9600, mikeisaniceguy . High power, low cost. And if you have decent ram and processor, you can run CoD4 in all its glory with no lag.

I just upgraded to the GeForce 8800 GT 1GB and I couldn't be happier. I recommend the 1GB model over the 512MB one though, that way you'll be set for a while. Oh and buy the way, CRYSIS looks amazing with this card.

I can't wait to get the Nvidia 8800 gt. I'm not the real graphics card/computer person but all I know is that I got all good reviews on it. Plus I don't have to play a laggy Cod4 all the time.lol

I got a "Eraser" pc with 2x8800gt 512mb. SLI system...and to say it short... VISTA SUCKS ...in xp im running over 100FPS in VISTA 29 FPS !!.-cant run Crysis without some grafic errors (lacks,stalls etc.)
Due VISTA-a unfinished product-hotfixes here hotfixes there Nvidia Beta drivers to perform better on SLI system who runs VISTA-IM waiting 14 days more to give MS Vista SP1 a chance..OR GOODBYE VISTA see you im a couple years- sorry my bad english-SO frustraded that with this monster MSI Medion Pc I cant run Crysis without problems.Thank you MS for you UNFINISHHED product

i got my 8800GT and it is great if your thinking of buying a 8800GT then your doing the right thing cuz this card is one of the best price per performance ratio on the market right now

Nice GPUs! However still very strange, that in some games the inferior GPUs work better than the GTX SLI! Though, I'd go for Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX SLI if I had loads of $$$s!

I recently got the 8800 GT OC by BFG. And I have to say... OMG...AMAZIING...Crysis on max, Fear on Max, WiC max and especially CoD4 Max and a 19 in montior it is truly a beauty=]. Especially fro teh price. But one problem I first encounters was the heat problem, and i ahd to crank up the fans for that, and it chugs electrcity, but tehn again mine are SLI. sooo maybe thats why. but all in all before I SLI the card, the graphics were amazing, I can even watch Blu-ray movies very clearly.

Core 2 Duo E6850, 3GB Ram Corsair, Zalman Fans all over, 1 TB HDD, and ASUS P5N32-E SLI
and 1000 Watt power Supply -.-

I totally recomend this card to anyone, but the sound form ym fans keeps me up at night and people are right this thing drains power. but I think my computer is future proof for teh next 3-4 months -.- lol

i have the new edition of the Asus 8800gt, with the big cooler. I love this, and Crysis flows like a river. But Nvidia is doing the new 9800 video card, naaaaa!!...give me a break with my new target nvidia please!

Impressive!!! And I recently purchased a BFG 8800 GTX, but don't regret it thought. After all....besides being marginally faster, it does have more memory (768mb vs the GT's 512mb) and that could play out better in the LONG term. But nonetheless.....this sounds like an impressive GPU at a decent price and hopefully brings more ppl to the world of PC gaming . I pretty sure if I build another PC down the road, I'll be looking to fitting one or even going with a SLI config with these .

I got a AMD Athlon x2 6000+,with a 250gb hard disk,3072MB of ram,8800GT,windows Vista,and I play crysis on high with water setting on very high.But anyways this video card is kickasss.

Two 8800gt cards in sli beat a single 8800 gtx by 50% and is 100 to 150 dollars cheaper then it.

Wow these prices at such a high quality card. ill definatly buy, before i knew this i was planning to buy 7800 GT but now i think 8800 Gt would be a better choice. but "TiberiumMember" review says it takes too much power so that could be a problem. because there r so many power failures in my country and i dont think my UPS would take the load...

this card has CRAZY performance BUT Takes alot of electricity so not every1 can buy the card i can raise money and buy the card+SLi but
i don't think i will have the money for the Electricity Bill think about it..

imagine that you are downloading a game, it's about 7GB and you need to keep the computer Turned on all night that's alot of POWER!! conclusion: you have to be RICH to buy this card

This card rocks, no doubt about it. But what's with all the 8800gts owners complaining/crying their hardware is garbage? I've read through a couple posts complaining that now the poster needs to spend 500 bucks to grab two 8800gt cards to play Crysis...why not just buy a second 8800gts for about half that an SLI 'em? If you bought a dx10 card w/o an SLI motherboard, that was simply poor planning, so for most SLIing two 8800gts(s) shouldn't be a problem or require a motherboard upgrade expense. If these 8800gts owners are trying to say Crysis is unplayable or looks terrible using two 8800gts (or even 1 for that matter), they need to step back and quit focusing exclusively on performance/benchmark specs and realize that a game doesn't have to run @ 100+ frames per second, it's just as playable at half that framerate if not less.

Nothing wrong with wanting better or the best, but as a gamer since the late 1980s, it's baffling that anyone as of right now, would be labeling an 8800gts as 'rubbish' or be unhappy they're 'stuck' with this card they purchased x months ago. Benchmarks aren't realworld. Meant to just throw my $0.02 in but I guess it's more like $1.25.
