Mission 9--Tenrai Fortress 1
After the battle with Kagura, you return to Lord Gohda to report about the situation regarding the tunnel and about Sekiya. Lord Gohda thanks you for your courage and decides to hold a strategy meeting with his men. He returns a few hours later. The plan is to first send you in to kill the leader from the inside. You must infiltrate the fortress and eradicate the enemies from within.
Assassinate the Evil Tenrai!
Objectives: Beware of martial arts experts. Use all your stealth skills to your advantage. Bring the wrath of heaven to Tenrai.
Proceed forward and cross the collapsed pillar. Drop down on or behind the house (grab the health power-up from the house's roof). Observe the ground floor and wait for the opportunity to drop down behind the demon guards. Continue through the passage. As you round corners, climb onto each ledge at each corner to hide from the guard on the other side. Drop down behind the guard and eliminate him with a stealth kill.
Round the last corner into the area with wooden walkways. Your goal should be to hug the wall on the right and go all the way to the back right corner. Move slowly and eliminate any guards that obstruct your path. The first demon guard patrols the nearest walkway. Eliminate him or wait until he moves left before you scurry around to the right. As you move along the right wall, look down to spot a box resting on a ledge below you. Search the box for a ninja rebirth.
In the right corner, terminate the monk, then ascend the staircase. You'll encounter a series of monks here. Wait until they're walking away before approaching and terminating them with a stealth kill. Walk beyond the huge cannons and around the next corner. You'll spot another monk here. When he walks away, take him out with a stealth kill.
