Classic 2D fighter that's still fun to play today

Man... I remember Fatal Fury when I was a kid putting quarters in the arcade. THE DAYS, you know what I'm sayin? This brings back memories. Kids these days are spoiled. They never experienced playing World Heroes, Art of Fighting, King of Fighters '94, or Samurai Showdown in it's arcade glory. For shame. Thankfully, XBLive is bringing back these Neo Geo must-play fighters to us, for a great bargin. This is easily a $200 game now available to you for $5, with achievements and online play. Best deal in town if you ask my opinion.

The game still plays like a dream. All the characters are fairly balanced and you'll easily get back into it even if you haven't played the game in a decade. The sprites look bright and clear, the backgrounds are visually appealing with a variety of environmental animation. The music is catchy and the soundeffects are hard-hitting. More than just a trip down memory lane, this is still a great 2D fighter. Younger kids may not 'get it.' But I for one gladly welcome any of those old 2D fighters on to XboxLive instead of seeing it fade away in obsucrity. You can count on me to get their next one (come on Samurai Showdown 2)!!
