Intensely scary! Down right a creeper

This game isn't really a game to me, it's more or less a well played experience. To me, the Fatal Frame series has been a well formated and presented Horror Ride that doesn't seem to lose its over all appeal. Fatal Frame the original takes the series quite literally off road and straight into the heaven's with ease. It's been several seasons sense I've played a game like this. It hits the spot in more ways than one. But not to overly boast, here is the low-down on how I feel about it.

The Good along with the Bad:
-1-Graphics
The graphics are great, they took their time mapping the game out and giving the game an over all great detail. One of my over all favorite things about the game is when you peak around with the camera and out of sheer paranoia end up believing you see some one down the hall way, which I love. I also noticed they did a far better job at the construction of the enemies in this game. Their is a large variety of them and each and every one of them have a distinct and original look. -2- The Creepiness

There has to be a certain type of scariness to entertain me, and this game has just what it takes. The over all eeriness of the game has caused me to have a few rough nights, I've attempted sleep but this game still frightens me when I turn it off lol.. One of my favorite scary moments of this game is when you begin to feel safe a particular save room, just when you feel like nothing could touch you, things just about end up turning in the opposite direction and beyond. I also like the fact people knock on your door all the time and seemingly wonder what the "HELL" is up with you lol. The whole people hole thing ended up frightening me too, if you didn't know, that little bunny that you see each and every time ends up holding a knife and stairs at you with the purest of sinister intentions.

-3-Characters
This is my only real beef with the game. Is it me, or did they just not cover enough ground with letting us know who the characters really were. I mean, don't get me wrong, I understood what was given to us in this game, but I really didn't end up giving a damn that my specific character's fate was to die, I just didn't know him myself lol. I also didn't like the fact main character, YOU, was a bland one. She didn't say really anything, he just kept trucking through the game.

-4- Sound
The Good: The music is great, it sounded to me like a ghost was always around you, it's extremely frickin scary!, Not only was I visually frightened about this game, but when anyone ever passes by my door as I play it I felt shutters down my spine.

Other then that, this game is great. I loved it, it scared me pretty good. If you like the series then this game is for truly for you!
