The best scarefest there is!

I won't bore you with the details of the story because you'll have read that elsewhere, all I'll say is that the game is hard. There is not nearly enough ammo ( camera film ) for you to be comfortably zapping ghosts from a distance, make sure you get shutter chances, zero shots and close shots from the get go - basically use as little film as possible when dispatching the ghosts right from the start.

What the game has going for it:

+ Incredible atmosphere
+ Genuinely frightening
+ Great unique combat system, a nice change from the usual guns and ammo
+ Excellent plot, essential for these types of games

... a few things that could be improved upon:

- corridors, doors, hallways all look pretty similar - meaning you can't distinctly tell you've been through them ( as opposed to the unique decorations in the Resident Evil mansion)
- ghosts can be frustratingly hard, especially the ones that disappear and reappear right next to you

All in all this is a must have title if you're a fan of survival horror games, it's best played alone and at night...
