Battlefield 2 works fine, all high, Half-Life 2 runs fine, all high, Rome: Total War & Barbarian Invasion are all high, everything fine. Really, the only thing wrong is that texture...and only that texture, which is weird.

I don't know. I am fresh out of ideas. I did the driver trick on Counter Strike source stress test (went back to Catalyst 5.7 or 5.6 can't remember which)and it removed those ERROR textures.

I've got a question. I recently reformatted, but before I did I backed up all my game saves except devmode.lua. I've got the text needed for GOD mode saved somewhere else. I always edit the devmode.lua to add the M249 and get rid of the MP5, pistol, and shotgun. So then I will have just the M4, P90, M249, OCIW, RL and Sniper Rifle, but for some unbeknown reason I can not get the M4 in game after pressing "P" for all weapons. Everything shows up, except the M4. I'll even come across one from a dead merc and it'll say something like drop present weapon for the M4... I'll pick it up then when I change to another gun it disappears. No matter what I do I can't get the M4.
Any thoughts?

Hmmm...not at the moment, though I do remember vaguley someone saying about this M4 problem in the past. My memory needs to improve...I'll think for you.

So what's the point of the OICW? I was kind of dissapointed when I picked it up. The grenades shoot straight and come in clips, but other than that I can't really see why the gun even exists. It doesn't seem to be that much of a change from the previous assault rifle, which has a better scope. Am I missing one of it's features or something? And why would anyone carry a pistol?

odus, I'm still clueless.
I really like the OICW though. It's not pointless if you pick it up on Boat. It has more armour penetration than the AG36 and stays more accurate when scoped. The grenades are also HE, which helps a lot.
Trust me, you appreciate the power and accuracy of the pistol when you're using it and an M4 for a realistic run.

Could you please help me pick out some speakers for Christmas? They should be about $50, maybe more. All I do on my computer is play games if that makes any difference.
I guess I should probably get 5.1, but I don't have much room behind me. Is it all right if they are just to the side? Or should I just get 2.1?
I'm not sure if I should get a sound card or not. I still have the one that came with this MotherBoard. Does it support 5.1? (it says it supports 8 channels but is that 2 and 8 or 2 through 8?)

Yes it should support 5.1 as it supports 7.1 too! Those speakers are what I would have recommended, but just look around at some user reviews - I think 5.1 is well worth it even if you don't have much room...

Well that's what I thought, but these people think differently. I know you said not to trust the PC board, but it's very active and I didn't feel like waiting a day or two for a repsonce.

Oh yea, another problem is I would perfer speakers that would stick to the wall. Idk if those just look stupid or don't work very well though. The reason is because I on one side of the wall there is nothing so set a speaker on, and there's only a small space between my closet/door so it would look strange if I had a tiny shelf.
Also how high should I put them? I would assume 2 went on your desk, one on your monitor. But are the last 2 supposed to be even with your head, or closer to the ceiling?

No mate - there are people on the PC board who know their stuff, so there are a good few to trust (Sheograth is usually knowledgeable I think) but there are also several idiots too.
Maybe you should just get decent 2.1 speakers then - it's really up to you, I'm not an expert on audio stuff to be honest.
