Waste of time... to do anything but playing this game :)

And I was knocked over by sheer awesomeness. By this time, I've only managed to get passed the first drake you encounter after defeating the Taurus Demon. About 2-3 hours into the game. Still, even though I haven't been playing that much yet, it is still a game of epic proportions. Just the feeling that almost every fight is a fight to the death, is a sensation that I've never felt before in any game. Going the wrong way might cost you everything you've fought for the past 15 mins, but it will make you think more about your enviroment, and the enemy behind the next corner. As the game progresses, you will figure out new tactics, find new weapons, discover new abilities and encounter new enemies to defeat. One more set on killing you than the one before.
The currency in this game is souls, souls of enemies defeated, and is used to level up, buy equipment and gear to help you on your quest to relieve the world of evil. If you die, you will lose these souls. And they will be lost forever, should you die again before you get to pick up your body.
If you let your mind stray for a moment during a fight, it will cost you dearly. Yet, you have a chance to recover what you've lost. ONE chance.
The way to best describe this game is: Challenging.
Facing a boss, you will have to keep focused, as he will pound you through the floor with his weapon. You're likely to die from this... and die... and die... and finally... Die! IF... you don't learn how to handle the boss the right way. Patience is a way of living, when facing a boss in Dark Souls, and focus a virtue. Without you will die... and believe me... you WILL die. Again and again, and if this is a game for you who seek a challenge, you'll love every moment, fighting dragons, demons, golems, knights, sorcerers and everything this hell can spew at you, each a fight for your life.
Resembling Demon's Souls, this game is so much more.
There are a lot of features, that I've excluded in this review, including the online part, but should this be more or less like Demon's Souls, most will know what to expect. And those who don't?... You're in for one wild night in hell ;)
I know, that I've written that you'll die alot... But this game is worth every £, $, DKK, or what your countrys' currency is. For this is a game for the hardcore gamer, and ones who love to learn and develop during a game.
This is pure awesomeness.
This is gamers drug.
This is Dark Souls.
