A good Far Cry game for when one is thirsting for a Far Cry game.
Instead of replaying the gem that Far Cry 3 was, I thought about giving the next installment a try. There are major differences, the map is way bigger than in Far Cry 3, but it feels empty and stretched to the breaking point.
What was good in Far Cry 3 was kept in Far Cry 4 but again, taking the Outposts for example, it's a beautiful thing and an important Far Cry element but there just too many of them in this game. There is so much of everything here and it is exhaustingly repetitive.
Graphics: 9 Beautiful Graphics
Atmosphere: 9 - It gives you the Himalayan feel
Story: 6 (would've been 5 if not for the trademark Far Cry finale which I loved)
Sound: 8 Beautiful sound effects, creating great immersion
Gameplay: 6 Too repetitive, copy paste feel
Setting: 10 This is what I love most about far cry. You feel cold, you feel the breeze, the air. Beautiful sceneries.
