What we have here is a co-op walkthrough video for Far Cry 3 with added commentary.
Unfortunately I'm not as excited for this game as I was at E3, since I thought the co-op was full story, free roam. Guess I had the wrong idea.
@Tribesmaster Yeah me too. Thought it was full campaign co-op, not only few missions. I think I'm going to skip this after all.
Like the idea of the co-op (especially couch splitscreen) but I wonder if you can playthru this campaign single player as well.
And then I hear her say "one of the many missions that's made JUST for co-op that one player can't tackle alone." :(
@endorbr YEAH but at least there is co-op split screen so i honestly don't mind that they're different. if you look at it in a positive way, your getting 2 games in one :)
i would love giving this a go ASAP, always loved far cry although the second one made me have second thoughts...
The more they show us about this game the harder that wait becomes......but at least we get a solid two weeks of neck stabbing, face stomping action before the world ends lol.
this franchise has always had my attention. first with the original's and 2nd's map editor so that I could enjoy kicking my buddy's backside on homegrown maps, but now - since my wife and I have become eachother's most valued co-op companions - for this mode inclusion. I notice that this co-op mode is set aside from the main campaign. and also, it appears to be hard-wire scripted and voice acted. with that in mind, my only hope is that the co-op mode's story thread is a lengthy one. as a voice acted singular mode in any game usually suffers from budget and disc space restrictions. and if this mode is a little shorter than I personally would wish for (I'd personally like to be able to play through a WHOLE campaign in co-op), then I at least hope it will be supported by forward content and DLC (something battlefield unfortunately appear to have missed with their co-op inclusion). either way, this is looking splendid.
