2 Like So, this is a game about a guy who hears the Call of Duty®, sees an opportunity to acquire a Medal of Honor®, decides to head into the Battlefield® in order to solve a Crysis® on Uncharted® Territory. This really is in the Borderlands® of what an FPS game is all about.
Pre-ordering it for ALL available platforms after this, nevermind the fact that I don't own an Xbox360.
I'll certainly buy this game. But I gotta say that the Crysis style enemy locking is stupid. And the bears and tigers too. Bears and tigers don't attack like that, and if they get you, you're done. One hit is enough, and if don't, they wont let you loose to run anyways.
@gabriel_dutra You are right, but if they made the game that realistic and challenging, millions of COD and MOH health regeneration cry-babies would throw hissy fits how the game is too difficult.
They say in the beginning that the made this demo easier than normal just to show you the game play.

Not bad combination.
But the guy owning with .38 a whole hostile outpost...looks bit weird.
So........I wasn't the only one thinking that (the pistol thing). LOL!
Pretty stoked over this game....................I just hope the VCP guards don't respawn every ten minutes!
Like someone said this game looks awesome but also too easy, I hope they were not playing Hard difficulty... :/
It would be cool if you could set Tree traps, like stretching the branches back, and watching them whip around taking out the unsuspecting enemies.
This looks brilliant, Pre-ordered and cant wait for its arrival.

4 Like Looks really good. I dont get the point of agressive tigers though, thats just ridicoulus. I hope you can scare them away with gunshots.. this isnt tomb raider 1 after all. The original far cry setting is awesome and the ass creed mechanic with the towers might be fun too. Lets just wait and see - might be far cry 2 without all the annoying mechanics (breaking guns, respawning checkpoints, malaria....etc)
3 Like I want to look forward to this... But I looked forward to Far Cry 2 and it sucked... A LOT. I'm going to wait for reviews before saying OMG GOTY
@gamefreak215jd although amanaki is a polynesian word, maybe the went the Lost route and they were experimenting on bears and tigers

1 Like A big open world, and the ability to use some imagination. This looks super entertaining. This and the new Hitman are on my definate buy list.

4 Like I loved Far Cry 2, but the only thing I didn't like about the game was the respawning at checkpoints, and all the driving. All these problems have now been addressed and fixed. This game just keeps looking better and better. Of course, I will not purchase until I see what rating it receives from Gamespot. Gamespot has never let me down.
I really enjoyed the driving from place to place in FC2 helped to give it a feeling of size and scale, but thats just my opinion of course :) I am looking forward to 3 though.....
@ronaldmcreagan You should watch or read their review on Fifa 13 and play the game. Makes you wonder if EA paid them for the review
Looks just like Just Cause 2. Graphics are too bright and colorful. Looks boring. Looks very easy.
@cubd1 I was thinking the same thing about the brightness. Not really into the "high noon/summertime" lighting. It will be interesting how the lighting changes during the day, if it does at all much. I feel like sippin margaritas on the beach watching this playthrough instead of slayin rebel outposts. Make sure to bring sunblock. lol

I hope this gets rid of the problems far cry two had. Enemies spawing to attack you in the world every 2 minutes got very tedious. and guns breaking was anoying as hell too
Cool. I liked skinning in Red Dead Redemption, I just don't like cowboy games...no cars = no fun.
