I love this game..., well what I've played of it so far. I've only done a couple of missions and had a bit of explore round but I really love it. I feel that you can get immersed in the world and the character really quick. The controls are great, on foot once your able to run and slide etc its a lot better and moving around is easy.I can think of certain games, (not mentioning any names, "fallout new vegas") where its meant to be open world but there is so many invisible barriers stopping you from where you want to go. far cry 3 It is a beautiful open world game. Driving the vehicles is really easy to master as well. The cars handle really well and I love that the handbrake is realistic. and I love little touches like being able to change the music on the car radio's. As for the guns, I haven't unlocked many yet, but if you kill an enemy you can pick there weapon and use it. I only actually have one weapon slot so far so I have to drop my pistol to use an enemy weapon at the moment, but as you progress you will unlock more weapon slots so you can carry more weapons etc. Getting money to upgrade and buy new weapons is pretty easy, there are loads of chests to loot and you can loot downed enemy's that will usually have things you can take to the shop and sell. Its good that all the safe houses now have a vending machine of sorts... that you can purchase weapons and sell your goods etc. So all in all, for what I've played of this game so far I do love it and have to give it a 9.5. The only thing that I can think of so far that I got a bit annoyed about was one of the missions where I had to kill a pirate, unless you do it the right way you have to do it again, i.e. you had to use a knife to kill this person and if you shoot him you have to do it all again, so after ducking and diving for 5 mins killing his friends I accidentally shot the boss instead of using the knife so I had to do it all again.... AARRGH!. but at the end of the day it would of been to easy if I was just allowed to shoot him so I cant complain too much. great game tho, lovin' it so far. Big up's to ubisoft
