I can't watch videos atm cause I'm at work. Could someone please tell if the editor is available for single player use then?

It looked like it was more for multi-player. I guess you could create a single player map where you just kill AI, but I didn't see any objectives that you could set for single player.
The videos didn't really get into much except showing some of the things that you could place on the map, changing the terrain, etc. Looks like you could spend hours putting a lot of detail into your map.
Nice videos to watch though. Getting more excited about this game everyday.

Mm, I've gotten to read what they have about it in their site. Looks like you make the maps for multiplayer, but you can enter said maps anytime in singleplayer sandbox mode. I guess that means no particular objectives or anything. That should do for me, I hope I can set respawns for AIs so I don't kill them all in one go and I have to restart or something.

The video did show that the amount of AI was limited. It didn't mention anything about respawning the AI. You can have enemy and ally AI fighting each other all while they are being attacked by tigers and crocs, or sharks, in the middle of your pot field. There will be some interesting maps.
I haven't been this excited about level editing since Quake 3.

The "limited AI" is kinda worrying for me. Maybe it means as in their routines' complexity, not numbers? That would make sense for custom maps

I don't think the first guy used the FC2 editor much. He keeps talking about "new" features that were already in it.

Here's a good example of how far you can go with the AI:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBHuKTEdP4UKeep in mind this is the PC version, though, and it has a much higher AI and object limit.
Actually, I don't think there is a limit to how many AI you can put in the maps for the PC version. I think consoles are limited to 25 unfortunately.
