At Game Stop, I heard " Skyrim with Guns" Is that right.

Friends,
In game stop a few days ago, a Trailer or something came on for this game. They advertisment said "skyrim with guns".
the sales associate laughed. We talked about that.
Will this be anything like skyrim with guns?? Im guessing its an action first person shooter.
Has anyone else heard that comparison?

btw, "skyrim with guns" -shhh don't bring up fallout, whatever you do, because that would be logical and make sense...

Watch many of the ' user submitted ' videos ( click on the 'Videos' tab between 'Images' and 'My Games ') and see for yourself.. All the vids and gameplay look amazing. This will be one of the biggest games of the year.

Looks like its got a few assassins creed(also from ubisoft) elements.
-climbing high structures to open up the map
-hunting animals and crafting pouches

I'm only on this forum because I saw an ad that mentioned the "Skyrim with guns" thing, and yeah, the first thing that popped into my head was fallout.
So I assume FC3 has ****loads of dragons then?

Friends,
now I see it in the banner ads on GameFAQs. skyrim with guns. Unless im going crazy, and im the only one that see it.
Well then never mind.
From the videos, it looks like a first person shooter, not skyrim with guns. I am playing New Vegas, now, I use to play mostly third person, but now Im playing mostly first person. to get me ready for these games.
This seems to be story heavy, which is nice. The videos look good.

Yeah, Far Cry 3 will be one of the biggest games of the year, just wish Ubisoft would do more advertising like commercials on tv like they do with black ops 2.. FC3 has an awesome story and around 25 hours worth of single player gameplay alone..

They wont advertise like BO2 because BO2 is like Madden NFL, GTA and other games that have those followers who dont know anything about games but buy one game a year because they had that previous version and thats all they buy. I put those games in the same category as songs that play on the radio, if all you here is the radio then thats the music you buy despite there being way better music not on the radio.

I look at it this way... For people that do not buy Far Cry 3, that is there huge loss ( they will miss out on an awesome game), even if there are not as many players on FC3 in multiplayer as COD or BO2, I will still love FC3. I am getting FC3 mostly for the story and single player alone like I do for every game I buy..I am sure there will be people that go to the video store to rent a game, they see FC3 and rent it, then say " WOW", this game is awesome, then they buy it..

It will sell pretty well because i am a part of a forza horizon club and they all plan to get it but it wont sell like BO2, between that and madden I dont understand people. Madden is a little better this year but I have non gamer friends who only buy madden and COD, they never even tried Battlefield 3 which I think if you haven't at least tried it then your missing out. I used to be hooked on COD until MW2 came out, I tried Battlefield 2 and was blown away. This games cover and not as largely advertising budget will limit its sales but it will do well and being around xmas time should help for a few weeks before the dead period post christmas hits.

I used to play BF3 all the time, in fact, I left off being a 100 ranked kernel..but I ended up selling BF3 simply because it was the same ole typical war shooter, and the story/single player really has no replay fun value.. Now with FC3, there will be lots of replay value for the single player.. FC3 kind of reminds me of a "Uncharted 2 " in a sense, but different if you know what I mean, FC3 has an awesome story, a good action/adventure feeling to it, and like many of the reviewers say " a game you just can't put down ".

I just wanted a open world until GTAV comes along, I have less then 2 months before kid #2 comes along and I need to get a little open world gaming done at night before I lose my gaming for a few months. I trade sleep for video games, I will not play games in front of my kids so I just take the controllers and put them away from the tv so I wont be tempted lol.

lol at people who don't understand what "Skyrim with guns" means.
One is a large.and hightly detailed open world with an alchemy system, hunting, stealth kills, RPG elements, and exploration.
And the other one is Skyrim.
