I'm being gracious by giving this game a decent review, because it really is terrible in most aspects.

User Rating: 6.5 | Fantastic 4 GC
The Fantastic Four video game is it as good as others note it as. A trademark, bash 'em up video game that shadowcases a various line of decent graphics, character voice-overs, and mediocre gameplay, this GC adaption of the film and comic book series begins as you embark on a mission in space. Exposed to some unknown source, the astronauts are rendered to a mutanous state and find themselves with new abilities - including super strength, manipulation over flames, invisibility, the ability to stretch beyond human limits, and the fond power of creating force field barriers.

What the friends do not know, however, is that their Donald Trump wannabe employer, Victor Von Doom, was also exposed to the toxin. He now finds himself with the ability to control electrical forces, and thereafter thinks of his newfound powers as "gifts from the Gods".

Throughout the game, you venture to find a cure for the exposure by exploring various levels for Von Doom, including a harsh, steamy jungle, underground Mayan temples, frightening tunnels, and New York subways. Each level features coins to collect, in which you can use to adopt new powers (Including further expansions to the group's powers). The cost of the new ability depends on how strong it naturally is.

All in all, I'd only recomend this game as a rental. It's fun at points, but the amusement eventually wears off. In fact, the only notable level is the battle with Dr. Doom at the very end.
