What are the best options for FIXT?

FIXT is a mod that adds content to Fallout. It's a rather ambitious project.

It ranges from new NPCs to enhanced quests. Also, the team NPCs were given enhanced capabilities, such as using all weapons, all armor AND can gain levels like in Fallout 2. Ian and Tycho, especially, were given new animations frames. Katja's animations use the Vault Dweller female frames for now but there is work to make animations using the green mohawk in every armor.

As for the options, based on the current 5.3, the first is called Nixie numbers, a different font for numbers, I believe. The next one makes critters drop their weapon upon death at varying distances. After that, you can enable mutant invasions for other cities besides Necropolis with varying dates.

In the other selection screen, you can enable different features of the NPCs such as keeping their base animation even with new armor or Ian smoking cigarettes while idling. Then, you can enable things like different button sounds, new splash screen or a new main menu picture.

Then you can enable Ian and Tycho's new frames so they can use every weapon, A Hardcore AI setting that never flees and smaller Ammo stacks.

Personally, I recommend using at least Ian and Tycho's new frames. Hardcore AI is also interesting if you do a lot of melee combat
