Brilliant game, surprising how many critics there are.

FT:BOS, as the game will be referred to in this review, is an amazing game that is greatly underrated by fallout fans. A pity there is no sequel.

In the game you manage a squad of soldiers that serve a spin-off of the Brotherhood of Steel, the most advanced and perhaps one of the most powerful factions in the fallout universe. This gives you access to tons of highly entertaining fire power. The game difficulty depends on how much you min-max your character. Unfortunately, there are no real penalties to min-maxing the main character, because there is little dialog in the game, and you can have other squad members do intelligence-requiring stuff. There are also a few (But only a few) inconsistencies with the standard fallout universe, but since it was never declared whether or not this game is canon make that unimportant. The game tactics are quite simple, but occasionally there are a few tricks. Also, there are more non-fiction weapons then usual for a fallout game. It should be noted some boss fights can be quite easy (One of them dies roughly 3 seconds after his introductory speech in fact often in my experience.)
