Very good follow-up to Fallout 3, just not as interesting to me.

Well I just got one of the endings and game over after 65+ hours of playing. Thinking back over it all, I did have a great time playing, but the ending kind of let me down.

It was fun to play a totally different scenario that is still set in the Fallout 3 universe. (I did love Fallout 3 and can highly recommend the Ultimate version that includes all the DLC on the disk)

But the scenario was not as interesting to me as any of the original Fallout 3 stories. The western wasteland was just too empty for me. I love to explore in these games, and while it all looked pretty good, I just didn't have that much fun as in the first game.

And I did like how you could have 2 different companions with you, it's just that they felt a little lifeless to me after playing games like Mass Effect where they are continuing to talk past their opening 5 lines.

Once they are done releasing all the DLC for the game and finally put out the Ultimate Version of this on Disk containing it all, I'll probably get that and try it again. Note to self- wait for Ultimate Version of games from now on.

In Summary - a good follow-up to Fallout 3, but not as interesting. Oh, and it was pretty buggy too - crashed out my 360 several times, save often!
