Well, I haven't been more delightfully surprised in a game. I was lead into the game because of the community and was discouraged to do so cause of the stupid review given to gamespot. I dont know if i should hate gamespot or thank them. I should hate them cause i almost never bought this game, or i should thank them since now i have a awsome game to hold me over till Skyrim.

Anyhow, this game is head over heels a true RPG and in that aspect way better than Fallout 3. The only draw back FO:NV has is that FO3 came first. If all the RPG mechanics that is in FO:NV then FO3 would have been the better game. However, all the factions dynamtics, ability to customize weapons, slowing down perks accumlations, having 3 means in which creating new things, and among other things, the greatest of all is the hardcore mode. Also, the ability to intact by playing a card game with different folks adds a very nice touch and distraction to the game.

This game offers a full course meal of RPG goodness. The only thing it may lack it the little looly pops with bubble gum in side. Reffering to when the review said "it lacks wow moments" or the common critisim that the quest are boring and lacks choices." And the ever most important and maybe valid at the time, was the bugs or glitches. All these things pales in comparison to the meat and potatos that it offers.

There are many other great things about this game that you can learn from people who are better at reviewing this game. To be honest i hate writing reviews, I'll do it once every blue moon when one deserves it though i'll toss in my two sense. And for the record, im an a big fan of all RPG as well as MMOs included. I still play LOTRO and have a kin with 400 members. I've also been an active WoW player and have played every major RPG on the xbox such as ME1 & 2, DA:O, Morrowind, Oblivion, FO:3, ect, ect ect, while i know there are more die hard RPG players out there i know i have a good idea to of a good thing when i see it, and enjoy a real challending game when it comes a long.

Thus, i know there is suffice knowlegde out there for you to get a more indepth descrition of the game so i have declined exhaust every aspect in the game since if your reading this you'd know it by now. However, I will draw this conclusion, if your like me and really like RPGs and addicting, challenging gameplay then youll love this game and for 20 bucks this is a steal.

And as a personal note, those people who dont like the story, i think it fits perfect for the whole context of this game. It feels perfect unlike FO3, when you come out fo the valut looking for your father the idea of all the side missions when your on the main quest just feels awkward when you go off doing your own thing and to go back to searching for your father after sometime. Its like youve been gone doing mission for a long time but your father feels like he just got to three dogs radio station 10 mins after getting out of the vault. However, in this game its no rush, its like your surviving as you go working as a merc, in a dynamic power struggles from other groups, and slowing keeing on the track of the fool who tried to put you down. It feels just right when your out there trying to survive and not trying to be the savior per se of a waste land. All in all its epic and yes this part falls under personal taste but the RPG elements on hardcore is for sure for the hardcore RPG players.

Thus, go buy this game for 20 bucks and support the developers, they deserve it. Dont try and save 5 dollars and buy a used copy lol. trust me, your support of this company is definitly warrented.
