Hard to love at first, but once you get past the thrown plates, bullets, plasma, laser fire you'll be in love again.

I wasnt sure i was going to like this version, the game simply doesn't ease you in, it just drops you outside the house and expects you to surive - which i didn't after going round the corner to find a giant rad scorpion.
i tried again, killed a few thugs known as the powder gang and took their armour only to be shot by the NPC for wareing their armour.
Vegas is not a game to imediatly love, in fact you'll hate its guts. It doesnt improve on the vats system. The slow motion is still there to bore you to death, it lacks the charm of the fallout shelter of the first one, and doesnt quite have as many rememberal moments (gary, gary), although it does shine if you wild wasteland perk from the start
(i left a building only to be chased by a horde of old women carrying rolling pins calling me a pervert)
but give it time and you'll be exploring the wastes like the first one, fighting for parts to sell and trade and explore.
You will learn to love again.

Overall - its a grower

You'll love...

- the massive expansion of the wastes
- theres so much to make and do
- there's allot of factions and give rise to more choices
- you'll see some wonders in the waste

you'll hate..

- you just dont feel connected with the main story
- it's BUGGED!
- vats is still as clunky as ever
- engine and characters are starting to date
- boring slow motion vats (its like the matrix gone wrong)
- death claws
