huge expansion pack for fallout 3, basically.

been playing for about 4-5 hours so far, and i feel like i'm still playing fallout 3. the look and feel of new vegas is maybe a little too similar, but is an awesome game nonetheless. the beginning of the game is much quicker paced than fallout 3, putting you right in the action to learn the game. no 16th bday party in this one thank goodness.

the biggest difference in new vegas is the focus on your reputations among the different groups or gangs in the desert. this has me paying more attention to dialog than the first game, and the consequences of your decisions isn't quite so black and white. reminds me of dragon age in a way. there are a few more guns and weapons to use, and some new bad guys to kill too.

maybe things will change a bit the more i play, but so far, this game is fallout 3 all over again. not a bad thing.
