Where do I get the Ranger Sequoia?

The Ranger Sequoia is an amazingly powerful pistol. How can the player get one?

There are 2 ways, one of which will get you in trouble and the other one is totally legit:

While completing the "Return to sender" quest which you can get from the NCR Base of Forlon Hope (you need to be at least liked by the NCR to get them to give you missions). Once you reach the very end of the quest on Camp golf you'll have a face to face chat with the culprit of the missinformation and you have to decide wheter you turn him in or you let him be. Choose to turn him over and he'll ask for a minute of privacy, and as a good soldier he'll shoot himself and leave the gun behind for you to discretely collect.

The other way involves killing Elite NCR Rangers of Lv20 or higher, these guys can be found on few spots during the game, during the presidencial assassination attemp would be your best chance specially if you are an NCR enemy, it is random so its not certain you will get it being the first option the best one and easiest.

There are THREE ways to get the Ranger Sequoia.
1. Go to Camp Golf. There you will find Chief Hanlon. You can loot a Ranger Sequoia off his body.
2. You can steal one from the floor of Hanlon's office (but only if he commits suicide at the end of the quest "Return to Sender").
3. After reaching level 20, some NCR Veterans will be equipped with the Ranger Sequoia, which you can obtain from them.

There are a few ways to obtain the 'Ranger Sequoia'

1) In Camp Golf - one is owned by 'Chief Hanlon', and it can be looted from his body or pickpocketed/reverse pickpocketed from him. You can find Hanion in the house resort.

2) It can also be stolen from the floor of Hanlon's office if he is to commit suicide at the end of the quest Return to Sender.

If you decide to turn in Hanlon in the quest Return to Sender, he will give about a 1 minute speech over the intercom then commit suicide. Hanlon's Ranger Sequoia will be on the ground next to him.

3) It can also be obtained from NCR Veteran Rangers, some will be equipped with this weapon starting at level 20.

Just to note: The pistol's name will be in red though and you will have to pick up the pistol and move it to a place where you can not be seen. The player will also receive Hanlon's speech on holotape.

4) If you want the 'Ranger Sequoia' quick & easy, you can use the console command: player.additem 00129A44 <amount>
