Can i put my own music in FNV?

Is it possible to edit the files in the Data/Sound/Songs/Radionv
directorys to play my custom music on Radio New Vegas without any conflicts?

I;m not sure if you can just put your music into the folder and have it play. I'd recommend the Radio New Vegas Channel Extender over at newvegasnexus.com. It can handle up to 35,000 tracks, though I doubt you'll need that many.
